I was raised in New York but moved to Texas in 1982. I have a Bachelor of Science from SUNY at Buffalo New York and a Jurisprudence Doctor from South Texas College of law in Houston. I am licensed to practice law in all State Courts in Texas and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. I have practiced in Houston and surrounding counties since 1986. I love practicing law. I enjoy helping people set goals and helping them through one of the most difficult times of their life.
I am married and have two grown step children whom we raised, an adopted son who is a senior in high school (headed to college), and a daughter who is in first grade so I understand the intricacies of having a blended family. We have hosted foreign exchange students and still remain in close contact with her. As you can tell, family is a high priority in my life.
I know the joy and rewards of adoption and the stress of the legal process. I adopted my son when I was single so I understand the challenges that you may be facing as a prospective adoptive parent or, if divorce is on the horizon, as new single parent. I personally know the stress that can be caused by a custody battle because we went through it too when my husband sought (and won) custody of his children from a previous marriage.
I am a strong, independent and aggressive woman. I even skydived until I adopted my son, so I do not get intimated by so called "big name law firms". I have the compassion to understand your case but at the same time I am aggressive enough to get you what you deserve.
If you are looking for a lawyer that will fight for your rights, you needn't look any further. Just pick up the phone and let's get ready to rock and roll!
